Titan TV will broadcast 35 UW-Oshkosh regular-season sporting events during the 2015-16 academic year, including all six of the Titans’ football games at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
Highlights of the Titan TV schedule include football games against defending national champion UW-Whitewater on Oct. 10 and the homecoming contest against UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 17.
The first broadcast of the year will be UW-Oshkosh’s football home opener against Finlandia University (Mich.) at 1 p.m. on Sept. 12.
Titan TV, the award-winning student television station at UW-Oshkosh, will also air eight women’s basketball and eight men’s basketball contests, three women’s volleyball matches and one wrestling meet from Kolf Sports Center as well as five women’s soccer and four men’s soccer matches from J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
Titan TV broadcasts from Kolf Sports Center feature women’s volleyball against defending WIAC co-champion UW-Whitewater on Sept. 23, women’s basketball against perennial NCAA Division III postseason participant St. Norbert College on Dec. 12, men’s basketball against WIAC co-champion UW-Whitewater on Jan. 20, and wrestling against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Feb. 4.
Other Titan TV broadcasts from J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium include men’s soccer against last year’s NCAA Division III runner-up Wheaton College (Ill.) on Oct. 7 and women’s soccer against five-time defending WIAC champion UW-Whitewater on Oct. 28.
All 35 of the UW-Oshkosh contests can be viewed locally in Oshkosh on Time Warner Cable Channel 97.57. They can also be viewed online at portal.stretchinternet.com/uwosh.
Titan TV has won numerous awards for its sports coverage, including commendations from the National Broadcasting Society, the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the Milwaukee Press Club. The station’s Sports Director for the 2015-16 academic year is Ross Kohlhase.
