Traveling to and from UW-Oshkosh baseball and softball games will be easier on Saturday (April 22) thanks to a free student shuttle bus service.
The Titan Shuttle Bus will begin operation on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. from Molly McGuire’s (539 Campus Place) and be on a continuous 30-minute loop with stops at Albee Hall (776 Algoma Boulevard) and the Oshkosh Sports Complex (450 Josslyn Street), the site of UW-Oshkosh’s baseball games with UW-Platteville and softball contests with UW-Whitewater. Both doubleheaders begin at 1 p.m.
Students riding the Titan Shuttle Bus will be dropped off at the UW-Oshkosh Softball Park, located on the southwest corner of the Oshkosh Sports Complex. Students can then check in at the venue’s ticket window to pick up their free T-shirt (while supplies last) before attending the UW-Oshkosh baseball or softball activity of their choice. UW-Oshkosh plays its baseball games at Tiedemann Field, located on the southeast corner of the Oshkosh Sports Complex.
The Titan Shuttle Bus will pick up students at the UW-Oshkosh Softball Park and return them to Molly McGuire’s or Albee Hall until 7 p.m.
UW-Oshkosh students driving to the games can park for free at the Oshkosh Sports Complex.
Admission to the games is free for all UW-Oshkosh students who present their Titan ID card.
In baseball, UW-Oshkosh takes a 13-13 record into Saturday’s doubleheader with UW-Platteville (17-10).
In softball, 17th-ranked UW-Oshkosh brings a 20-6 record into Thursday’s (April 20) doubleheader at the UW-Oshkosh Softball Park with Carthage College (22-8). UW-Whitewater is ranked 13th in the country with its 23-6 record. The Titans have won eight of their last 10 games and trail first-place UW-Whitewater by two contests in the WIAC standings.
