UW-Oshkosh allowed just two shots as it posted a 2-0 victory over the Lawrence University men's soccer team on Tuesday (Oct. 16) at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

The Titans (6-3-3) scored both of their goals in the opening period, including Ryan Hanna's (Jr. • Verona) match-winner in the 20th minute (19:50) of play. Hans Becker (So. • Madison) was credited with the assist on Hanna's fourth goal of the year.

UW-Oshkosh doubled its lead on a goal by Jonathan Stanley (Fr. • Lindenhurst) in the contest's 42nd minute (41:58). Stanley's third goal of the season followed a pass from Danny Karrels (So. • Port Washington).

UW-Oshkosh, which has won 25 of its 28 meetings with Lawrence University, attempted 18 shots and earned four corner kicks. The Titans were led by the four shots of Hanna and the three of Stanley.

Lawrence University went without a corner kick and was limited to the second-half shots of David Caprile and Joe Cullen. The Vikings (6-7-1) haven't scored in their last eight matches against the Titans.

UW-Oshkosh had three players guard its goal, including Joey Wedderspoon (Jr. • Verona) who saved one shot while playing the first 29 minutes of the second half. Nick Barry (So. • Wheaton, Ill.) and Marcelo Chiariello (Fr. • Sao Paulo, Brazil) didn't face a shot during their time of goalkeeping service.

Kevin Aslett saved eight shots while playing the entire match for Lawrence University.
