UW-Oshkosh had seven players score as it rolled to an 8-0 victory over the Lakeland College men's soccer team on Sunday (Oct. 21) at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

The Titans erupted for five goals in the contest's first 30 minutes, including scores by Ryan Hanna (Jr. • Verona) and Ryan Redmond (Jr. • Lake Elmo, Minn.) that were separated by just 29 seconds. Hanna scored his fifth goal of the season at the 14:04 mark of the match, while Redmond tallied his first goal of the year at 14:33. The goals gave UW-Oshkosh (7-4-3) a 3-0 lead.

UW-Oshkosh opened its scoring on Evan Krause's (Fr. • New Berlin) five-yard kick just 9:40 into play. It was the fifth goal of the season for Krause.

Hans Becker (So. • Madison) put two shots into the net to give the Titans leads of 4-0 and 7-0. He scored from seven yards out in the 20th minute (19:34) and converted a penalty kick in the 55th (54:31). The goals were Becker's fourth and fifth of the season.

UW-Oshkosh closed its scoring on goals by Levi Corbeil-Wild (Fr. • Minneapolis, Minn.) in the 30th minute (29:21), Adam Schmitt (Fr. • Sycamore, Ill.) in the 53rd (52:01) and Danny Karrels (So. • Port Washington) in the 66th (65:42). It was the second goal of the season for Corbeil-Wild, first for Schmitt and second for Karrels.

Jonathan Stanley (Fr. • Lindenhurst, Ill.) had two of UW-Oshkosh's eight assists in the match. He assisted on goals scored by Corbeil-Wild and Karrels.

UW-Oshkosh players credited with one assist each were Becker, Hanna, Karrels, Sean Boulanger (Fr. • New Franken), Michael Dugan (Fr. • Waukesha) and Chris Kurth (Jr. • Green Bay). The assist was Becker's team-leading fifth of the season.

UW-Oshkosh attempted 36 shots, including five by Stanley, as it improved to 6-2 against Lakeland College (2-14-2). The Titans held the Muskies to just three shots.

UW-Oshkosh had three goalkeepers see action, including Joey Wedderspoon (Jr. • Verona) who recorded the only save. Wedderspoon played 43:54 of the match, while Nick Barry (So. • Wheaton, Ill.) played 19:34 and Marcelo Chiariello (Fr. • Sao Paulo, Brazil) played 26:32. The three goalies combined for UW-Oshkosh's seventh shutout of the season.

Lakeland College goalkeeper Alex Piekarski had a busy match, as he saved 11 shots while allowing all eight goals.

UW-Oshkosh closes its home schedule with a match against Finlandia University (Mich.) on Tuesday (Oct. 23).
