Chelsea Kierszh (Jr. • Oshkosh) has become the second UW-Oshkosh midfielder to earn all-region honors. She was named to the All-North Third Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
A starter in 18-of-19 matches this season, Kierszh totaled three goals and one assist. She posted the game-winner during the Titans' 2-0 triumph over St. Norbert College.
Kierszh scored two goals in a 4-1 victory over UW-Platteville. Her assist came during a 3-1 win over Marian University.
Kierszh has compiled 19 goals and four assists during her 60-match career.
The other Titan midfielder to make the all-region squad was Michelle John (2004-06).
Eight WIAC players were chosen for the 2012 All-North Team. UW-Whitewater placed Christina Tooren on the top squad, Alyssa Chamberlain on the second and Laren Nashleanas on the third. The remaining members were UW-La Crosse's Saskia Taylor (first team), UW-River Falls' Cassie Stang (second), UW-Stevens Point's Sammy Greer (second) and UW-Eau Claire's Gina Williams (third).
