Titans Dunk Vikings In Dual Meet

Sally Hesby (Fr. • Plymouth, Minn.) captured both diving events in UW-Oshkosh's 121-84 triumph over Lawrence University on Friday (Dec. 7) in Albee Hall.

Posting season-high scores, Hesby prevailed with a three-meter figure of 215.46 and a one-meter tally of 210.90.

Four other Titans booked an individual victory. Hannah Forcey (Jr. • Appleton) won the 100-yard freestyle in 58.26, while Sara Gosline (Fr. • Janesville) took the 50-yard freestyle in 26.76. In the 100-yard butterfly, Emily Shandley (Sr. • Oak Creek) touched the wall first after 1:04.98. Laura Sullivan (Fr. • Milwaukee) then clocked a 2:25.73 to clinch the 200-yard individual medley.

UW-Oshkosh grabbed first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay when Katherine Challoner (Fr. • Sun Prairie), Vanessa Jagodinsky (Jr. • Green Bay), Sydney Krimmer (Fr. • Oak Creek) and Katherine Rosenbers (Fr. • Northbrook, Ill.) marked a time of 1:46.52.

Challoner and Sullivan each contributed a second-place result, as Challoner swam to a 1:07.17 in the 100-yard butterfly and Sullivan posted a 1:16.02 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Other runner-up finishes came from Katie Duffey (Sr. • McFarland) in the 200-yard IM at 2:27.45, Marissa Graff (Jr. • Hancock, Mich.) in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:09.42 and Carissa Priebusch (So. • Watertown) in the 50-yard freestyle at 27.63.

The Titans next meet is against UW-La Crosse on Jan. 12 in Albee Hall.
