The WIAC chose UW-Oshkosh's Kayla Priebe as its Women's Golfer of the Week for events held Sept. 11-17.
Priebe finished sixth among 100 golfers to help UW-Oshkosh place fifth at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational held Sept. 16-17 at the Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill.
Priebe counted 150 strokes (6-over-par) to rank as UW-Oshkosh's top performer. Her score included six birdies.
Vidushi Sinha of Grinnell College (Iowa) took the individual title with 141 strokes (3-under-par).
Three players shared second place as Samantha Haubenstock of Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.), Larisa Luloff of DePauw University (Ind.) and Vrishali Sinha of Grinnell College all accumulated 148 strokes. Rylie Loux of Illinois Wesleyan University finished fifth with 149 strokes.
UW-Oshkosh totaled a school-record 304 strokes on Saturday to conclude play as the tournament leader. The Titans then totaled 322 strokes on Sunday to finish the tournament with a fifth-place score of 626.
Washington University in St. Louis registered matching daily scores of 305 strokes to bypass UW-Oshkosh and hold off Illinois Wesleyan University for the team title. Washington University captured first place with 610 strokes while Illinois Wesleyan University finished second with 612.
DePauw University placed third with 618 strokes while Grinnell College ranked fourth with 623.
