UW-Oshkosh's Kaira Hammond was named the outstanding specialist and Jessica Bernardo the top all-around competitior as the Titans swept the WIAC weekly women's gymnastics awards for meets held Feb. 11-17.
Plenty of season bests were recorded by UW-Oshkosh as the Titans finished third behind a pair of scholarship programs during a four-team women’s gymnastics meet at Seattle Pacific University on Friday.
Jessica Bernardo won the all-around competition, Olivia Keller finished third in two events and Kaira Hammond placed in the top six in three categories to lead UW-Oshkosh during its 186.750-184.675 loss to defending WIAC women’s gymnastics champion UW-La Crosse on Friday in La Crosse.
Emily Gilot achieved the top listing in four of the five individual categories as UW-Oshkosh closed out its home women’s gymnastics schedule with a 182.200-180.550 victory over Winona State University on Friday in Kolf Sports Center.
